Take me to your leader!

Getting ready for Halloween means trying on all the old bits of costumes from years past. Lola stayed home with Dad to pass out candy after a few stops for candy out in the cold.

Sometimes I think she knows we are having a staring contest even at only about 18 months.

Lady In Pink

Lola often enjoys alone and special time with Dad. Usually this time is mandated by sickness or mothers need to be elsewhere. This special Dad and Daughter day was sponsored by a good course of conjunctivitis or the dreaded "Pink Eye."

My Mommy

A rare mom photo appearance and just an adorable little snapshot of the two of them.

Grandpa Robert

Lola will never know her Grandpa Robert but she called on his ghost with her new pajamas. The resemblance is uncanny.

First Birthday

MMMM Cake

One year old. Life is great. Grandma Linda made me a cake with a doll torso stuck in it so I would not get jealous if I saw that she did for Evelyn 5 years ago. The cake was delicious but I had no idea that being one would mean I was no longer allowed in my parent's bed for any reason. Just all of a sudden that dad of mine would not let me in. The first night I cried for 45 minutes and he must have come back in to lay me down 20 times. That tired me out, but the second night I tried again. Third night too. After that I finally gave up and sleep from dusk till dawn, or some baby version of it.

I Can Walk

Somewhere between New Years and January 10th or so, Lola's preferred method of transport has gone from crawl to walk. We are still pretty unstable but making headway every day.
