Lola's First Black Eye

From the unpublished archives Day one

Day Two

When asked, she assured me the other guy looked worse. Her second soccer practice of all time will hopefully be incident free.

Chicken Anyone?

Summer 2011, one of the 2-3 chickens you called Melissa.

Spittin' Seeds

Proof Positive

Evidence of my excellent fathering, a Fall 2011 trip to the City's crawl around on government trucks day, just Dad and Lola.

Baby? Lola

Let me first apologize for this photo. Just as with the advent of any new technology, the general public lowers it's expectations of what "good" is. This is clearly not a good photo but camera phones are still new. By the time you have a pocket communication device they will probably be as big as the head of a pin and shoot feature films in HD digital. Be glad you did not have to live though the time when people first used "word processors" and trid 45 fonts on a single page.

Why Now?

From the unpublished archives.

It's been since April that a new post appeared. Why now? I'll tell you why. Dad can't drive, has some spare time and after his "near death" experience he is more likely to devote a few minutes to your blog so that you may someday enjoy it. If his memory never improves, it could start to serve as a record of his own life as it relates to his daughters.
That's me after falling off the roof. Thanks for coming to visit me everyday (at least that's what your mother tells me).

2012 The year of frequent posting?

According to the ancient Mayans, 2012 will be the year of far more frequent blog posting, at least for Evelyn and Lola. My hope is that someday when they page this far back in the sporadic and Swiss Cheese like annals of their lives they will enjoy an occasional photo or see there Dad in a slightly different light. If nothing else, you may enjoy being reminded of a time that you let your Dad cut your hair which looks a little funny in this photo. Keep in mind at almost 4 you are still without a real full head of hair and I assure you, I did a fine job.
